Our Ministries

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: SUPER CHURCH
SuperChurch is a place where kids live BIG because we believe God has an amazing purpose for every child!  From the youngest to the oldest, children in Super Church enjoy a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn to "live the life" and have lots of fun doing it!  Super Church is available for ages newborn through 7th grade in Sunday morning services. Stepping Out, for kids age 4 years through 6th grade, is offered Wednesdays at 6:45 PM; nursery is available for ages newborn through 3 years.  Click here for more information.

YOUTH MINISTRY: N-COUNTER
N-Counter is a powerful service where young people in grades 7 through 12 are changed by the power of God!  At N-Counter, there is explosive worship, relevant teaching, activities and time for hanging out and making new friends.  N-Counter meets Wednesdays at 6:45 PM.  Click here for more information.

BELIEVER'S SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE (BSE)
BSE is all about helping you experience God in your everyday life.  Our vision is to help you be all that you can be as a Christian and find your place in the body of Christ.  BSE is for men and women who desire to develop in godliness, integrity, and excellence.  It is a school that consists of three challenging and exciting courses that propel students into spiritual growth:  
     •  Foundations for Christian Growth
     •  God's Plan for Christian Service
     •  Discipleship Training. 
These courses are to be taken in sequence.  They will help believers find their purpose and assist them in receiving all that God has for them.  BSE is offered twice a year with sessions beginning in September and January. 

LIVE THE LIFE YOU WERE BORN TO LIVE INTRODUCTORY CLASSES
The vision of Resurrection Life Church is to help people live the lives they were born to live.  We've designed this series of four classes to introduce you to who we are as a church and to enable you to begin to understand and experience the life God has for you, meet several leaders in our church and hear how God has touched their lives, and start to build friendships at RLC.  These classes are designed for newer people in our church as well as those who are just checking us out.  They are small and very fellowship oriented; we also serve a light lunch, which is why we ask you to RSVP ahead of time.  Classes can be taken in any order.
     •  Class #1 - Live the Life: A New Start
     •  Class #2 - Live the Life: What About My Past?
     •  Class #3 - Live the Life: A New Life
     •  Class #4 - Live the Life: Meet the Pastor
Classes are generally offered twice a month on a rotating basis.  Check the current bulletin to find out when the next class will be offered.  Attending these classes is also part of the requirement for becoming a member of RLC. 

LIFE GROUPS
The purpose of CPR Life Groups (Creating Personal Relationships for Life) is to promote healthy relationships which empower people for the purpose of growing in Christ-likeness, loving one another, and contributing to the vision and work of Resurrection Life Church, in order to glorify God and make true disciples.  We have four types of Life Groups:
     •  Life Fun Groups (fun and fellowship)
     •  Life Help Groups (topical studies)
     •  Life Changing Groups (discipleship)
     •  Life Serving Groups (impact teams/helps ministry)
Examples of Life Groups are the GriefShare support group, Together Forever Marriage Class, Cleansing Stream, Believer's School of Excellence, various Impact Teams, and others.  Check the church bulletin, the Event Calendar, or contact the church office (989-681-5731) for information about which life groups are currently meeting and how you can get involved.

IMPACT TEAMS
The Impact Teams (or helps ministry) at Resurrection Life Church include a variety of ministries designed to serve the church body and our community as well as provide opportunities to develop lasting friendships.  Impact Teams are the branch of our Life Groups we call the "Life Serving Groups."  Serving on an Impact Team can include everything from being a "floor friend" in Super Church to singing on the worship team to greeting new visitors on Sunday morning.  Whatever your skill or interest, we have a place where you can get plugged in and become a team player!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & SPECIAL EVENTS
At RLC, we strongly believe in building a bridge to our community.  We host a variety of special events throughout the year, including Night Under the Big Top (alternative Halloween celebration), the Annual Community Christmas Tea (for ladies), the Men's Shootout, Camp Know Him, and more.  Visit our Event Calendar to find out what's coming up next!  Click here to learn more about some of our special events. 

MISSION MATTERS
International missions is contagious at RLC.  Mission Matters, led by Pastor Jodie Stehouwer, dares to believe that men, women and young people from Mid Michigan can, in fact, impact entire nations with the goodness that they possess within them through financing American missionaries, erecting buildings, sending care packages and taking teams from within Rez Life to international soil.  Missions is not taken very lightly.  The Kingdom experience that transpires when team members dare to leave their comfort zones and enter a land where they are no longer in control is completely revolutionizing.  Team destinations have included Colombia, South Africa and Cambodia.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Throughout the year, RLC offers various events designed exclusively for men or women.  These events are designed to create personal relationships, provide inspiration for living and, as always, prepare men and women to live the lives they were born to live!  Upcoming events are posted on the Event Calendar.
