Our Vision

  • As a church we must be directed by a God-given vision, not the status or circumstance of a day or time. Circumstances of a time may dictate certain methods of operation, but they must never dictate the ultimate purpose and visionary goal.

God ordained Resurrection Life Church Mid-Michigan (RLCMM) for a specific purpose. This purpose was in His mind when He birthed the work. It is the Senior Pastor’s responsibility to tap into the mind of God in order to know His ordained purpose for RLCMM. Every pastor in this church's history will make his mark leaving his thumbprint and DNA in its operations. However, the divine purpose remains for an appointed time. Though it tarries, it will surely come.

The intent of the renewed vision is to get us back on course to our original design and intent while updating and/or altering some of our methods of operation. Although methods may change, the purpose remains the same.
(Habakkuk 1:5 NKJV, Habakkuk 2:1-3 NKJV)

  • Our Thumbprint Statement: Live The Life You Were Born To Live!

    Our Vision Statement:

Resurrection Life Church exists to help people live the life they were born to live through inspiration, training, equipping, and providing opportunities to fulfill their God-given destiny.”

  • As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, making Disciples of Christ by:

    • Making prayer a normal part of Christian life (Luke 19:46)

    • Worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24)

    • Providing children's & youth ministries (Acts 2:17)

    • Encouraging spiritual maturity (Romans 12:1-2; 14:19)

    • Equipping people for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11-12)

    • Being "missions minded" (Acts 1:8)

  • Five- Part Ministry Focus:

    • Prayer

    • Preaching

    • Praise & Worship

    • Youth

    • Children

  • Prayer is centric to the relationship between God and man. Martin Luther said, “If I should neglect prayer but a single day, I should lose a great deal of the fire of faith.” Prayer is not only necessary for the survival of individual believers, it is essential for the church as well. Prayer is the heartbeat that keeps the blood flowing through the church system.
(Luke 19:46 NKJV, Isaiah 56:7 NKJV, II Chronicles 7:14-16 NKJV)

  • The purpose for the creation of mankind is to worship God. It is the key catalyst for man and God making a tangible and lasting connection. Our Worship is packaged in our music and creative arts. They are existent to help people have a God encounter and a heavenly experience. Our Worship Ministry must be at the highest level of professionalism and talent. Our music needs to be Bible based with songs that lead people to the Cross of Calvary.
(II Chronicles 20:21-22 NKJV, Psalms 33:3 NKJV, Ephesians 5:19 NKJV, Colossians 3:16 NKJV)

  • The assembly of believers together is the primary place for the impartation of the Word of God through the preaching ministry. Our preaching must be uncompromising, life enhancing and life-changing. It must be of the highest caliber, saturated with the anointing of God.
(Luke 3:18 NKJV, Mark 13:10 NKJV, Mark 3:14 NKJV, Romans 10:13-17 NKJV)

  • This particular area of ministry, as well as children's, is foundational to the purpose of the existing facilities of RLCMM. God ordained this church to be a
fountain-head for youth ministry. We must have the most dynamic and powerful youth and young adult ministry in the region; reaching out to Junior High, Senior High, and College/Career aged people.
    Joel 2:28 NKJV, Luke 2:24a & 52 NKJV [24a], I Samuel 17:12-51 NKJV, Jeremiah 1:4-9 NKJV, I Timothy 4:12 NKJV)

  • It is more than a cliché to say that Jesus loves the little children. They were in many ways centric to His impartation of Kingdom values. We must have a Children’s Ministry that is remarkable and noteworthy. Our Children’s Ministry must make Jesus the focus and at the same time make RLCMM the “Want-To-Be-At” place for families.
Matthew 19:13-15 NKJV, Matthew 18:3 NKJV, Luke 9:47-48 NKJV
